Hi! I’m Dr. Karen M. Pendleton aka “Dr. Karen”. Founder/CEO of the concierge medical practice Pair O’ Docs Bio-Rejuvenis in Shreveport, Louisiana. 30+ years of experience as a physician specializing in Lifestyle Medicine and Ophthalmology. Doctor of Medicine degree from Tulane University School of Medicine, 1984. Ophthalmology Residency (1989 – 1993) and Fellowship training (1993 – 1994) in Cornea and Refractive Surgery, both, at the LSU Eye Center. Continuing medical education from Tulane’s Goldring Center for Culinary Medicine and the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. Lifestyle Medicine practice that concentrates on the management of metabolic and hormonal imbalances; correction of nutritional deficits; and tailoring of exercise physiology to develop personalized strategies for my patients to live long, youthful lives. Avid believer in healthy living and involved in a wide variety of athletic activities including yoga, running, Zumba/ReFit and extreme hula hooping. A member of the Wellness Council of the “No Compromise” company, ARIIX. Passionate about creating a positive impact on healthy body image, particularly among female teenagers/young adults and ‘seasoned’ women.
